Unity in the Community - Nigeria, through the AD Foundation, extends its support through interactive one-on-one consultations on March 1, 2023 with the youth, women, and children among which the topics discussed were access to basic education, affordable housing, and clean water at Ibikiri Polo Community, Marine Base, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The interaction and discussions aim to understand the plight of women, children, and the youth in terms of the access to basic services as mentioned above. This is to gather data on what support the community needs and how the foundation is able to extend help.

REACHING BEYOND BORDERS

The Unity in the Community, through its international component Arthur Darby Foundation expands its reach through the establishment of ADF Nigeria with Sen Chiefson as co-founder as part of its advocacy to go beyond borders and reach to communities across the world on January 14, 2023, 12 NN EAT at the Swiss Hall, Swiss Spirit Hotel, Stadium Road Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
The launch is done through a press conference and media dialogue on the need for peaceful elections in Nigeria as the general elections are approaching. This media conference is in partnership with the Kimpact Development Initiative, RSFAYD, and the #NotTooYoungToRun initiative.
“As the 2023 General Elections draws near, it is important for us to continue to have conversations on the need for peaceful co-existence among electorates and this is the reason we at The Arthur Darby Foundation are championing this campaign to enlighten The Rivers people and Nigerians everywhere to remain peaceful during the elections. This is part of the sole-mission of our Community Engagement outreach Program," said Sen Chiefson.
Moving forward, the Discipleship Training will commence on March 17-18, 2023 as part of the ADF Nigeria’s plan of action for the first half of 2023.
